Le weekend avant Noel, c'etait le grand demenagement; moi je devais demenager mes 2-3 trucs vers O'Connor; John devait ramener tout son brol a Sydney. On a donc loue un camion mais comme on devait le ramener a Canberra, j'etais charge des faire les aller-retours entre Canberra et Sydney et ramene la voiture de Renee le jour suivant a Sydney. Tout ces donc passer sans probleme et le 24 debut d'aprem, j'etais a Sydney chez les Couto, a mettre en pratique mes lecons de portugais que j'ai eu avec John, avec Guil (le bresilien dans mon bureau) et Raul (portugais qui est en Allemagne maintenant).

The weekend before Xmas, big moving day, I was moving a few things to O'Connor; John was moving his whole house to Sydney. Therefore, We rent a truck but he had to bring it back to Canberra so I was the man to do all the travels between Canberra and Sydney and then take Renee's car to go back to Sydney the day after. Everything went well and the 24th beginning of the afternoon, I was in Sydney at Couto's, trying to use my portuguese lessons learned with John, Guil (taht mute brasilian in my office) and Raul (another Portuguese working at RSES and now in Germany)

Bon le truc, pour faire un noel portugais, c'est de bouffer jusqu'a s'en faire eclater...le tout pendant environ 4 jours (jusqu'au 28 environ....). Heureusement que l'agua ardente maison est la pour faire effet destop dans l'estomac....

The good thing with a Portuguese Xmas, is that we have food till you belly burst...and it goes on and on for 4 days (around the 28th) Hopefully, the agua ardente (firewater) is there to clean up and dissolve anything in the stomach.

j'ai encore quelques photos de nos balades sur la plage mais apres mes batteries etaient mortes donc je n'ai pas de photos du reste et du nouvel an (ce qui n'est pas plus mal, il aurait aussi fini dans le jacuzi....)


I have a few more pics of our walks on teh beach but then my batteries were dead and so no more pictures after and for New Year's Day (which is not that bad after all....I guess I would have finished in the spa)
